One of the objectives of the Eggbeer Trust is the advancement of religion by the provision of holidays for ministers of religion and missionaries of any Christian creed or denomination and their families to assist them in the fulfilment of their religious duties. For this purpose we are delighted to offer two lodges on the edge of Dartmoor. They are available all year round. Retired clergy and missionaries are welcome to apply.
Please note that our holidays are offered for ONE WEEK and that we run from Monday to Monday and this is not negotiable!
How to Book
Please post your form at least a month before the week you require.
- Check the Calendar page to see which dates are available at this precise moment (the calendar is updated with each booking).
- Go to the Apply to Book page and read the information and instructions.
- On the Documents page check out and print the CORRECT application form for the holiday you need and, when completed, post it to our Bookings' Secretary - please be aware that there is a new address. Please do NOT do any of the following: send cheques with your application form, try to apply by email, or post your form to the lodges or Andrew.
- We will confirm your booking by email as soon as possible, explaining what to do next and how to pay the deposit - please note that we need at least a month's notice (judged by receipt of application) to arrange a booking.
- If you haven't heard from our Bookings' Secretary within ten days of sending your form, please first check your 'Junk' folder and if you still haven't heard from us email eggbeertrust@gmail.com explaining when you applied.
